The video really went downhill at the end. So what if she is a he? Really?!!! The husband had to make a commentary about how he is an ex-military and somehow suggests that why should the military guys sacrifice their lives for illegal wars so that the president can go home and cuddle up with his transgendered partner. The fuck! How is it any better if the president is married to a woman?!

Well, if you're going to use logic...

Actually I think I can understand it. Many in the armed forces really do put their lives on the line, something that is never asked of most of us. I can see how you'd be willing to do that to defend something you love and believe in, and how you'd be bitter if what you're defending mutated into something you could no longer support.

The issue, and the sad and problematic thing, is if a soldier or anyone else feels that their country and society are no longer worth defending if they tolerate transsexuals.

Conscription's not in effect. Those in military are in the military because they ask for it.

He is already unhappy about risking his life for illegal wars, but it seems that it adds salt to wound for him that the presiden'ts wife turned out to be a man. So really, you already risked your life for someone, why does it matter if that someone is transgendered?
