On aliens, the paranormal and other stuff

#1  Postby JustStarDust » Jun 15, 2020 5:43 pm

I re-found these recently. I've been meaning to upload them somewhere, and finally got around to editing them, cut out the adverts.

Red Elk sure does sound crazy, and out of his tree, but 'it's his tree'.
Is it wrong, that I want to believe him? Sure, it would be wrong to blindly trust every word he says. Such as 'you can fly, survive bombs' etc.

Each video / audio goes for about 2 hours. I've only seen one comment in the past saying he was a total fraud, and not even a native American. Totally possible, I have to keep my mind open - but at the same time, not trust everyone on the internet.

And yes, I've heard some very strange things on Coast to Coast am. I have this free app for my 'smart' phone called 'Simple Radio' (no, I'm not advertising it), and there's 2 stations which stream the show (The Ultimate Art Bell & The Very Best of Art Bell). I've also added radio stations from around the world because I appreciate various kinds of music, even if I don't know what the person is singing about. And also mainstream news & science programs.

Anyway, peace, love and all that good stuff.

Two videos which are pretty interesting...

This one describes Mars, and how the mountains in some areas MAY have been formed by a huge bolt of lighting. Which means that thee mountains may have been created within minutes. Shocking if true

This one goes through quite a bit. Gregg Braden talks about the apparent science behind healing, old books found in Tibet, etc. Idk if he's a fraud. Sad if he is :what:

I’m not going to watch two hours of video. Give a synopsis of his point and maybe point to a few relevant parts of the video with a time stamp. Don’t make people do your work.

I do actually want to time stamp the topics... I should get around to that at some point. One step at a time.

I don't see how posting the link to their site, proves its 'Pseudoscience', and from what I understand about you, is that you don't have the time to watch full length documentaries?

Do you mean the video is not about the "electric universe"?

So it's wrong that - everything is a form of energy? IE, electric? I guess that's slightly different though?

I'll watch this, and then judge for myself...

Calm down, I'll watch what I want. "Professor Dave" watched stuff. Does he not value his time either? I suppose I could be producing music, and snorting coke like Bowie did ;)
Also, I watch documentaries at 1.25 speed or sometimes 1.5 speed, as to save time. Probably the one best feature YouTube has.

He does. And with 828,000 subscribers he probably gets a good return on the time he spends watching stuff.

To be fair, time is better invested watching a 26 minute debunking of a harebrained concept than an hour long presentation of bullshit that has already been debunked years ago. My guess is that JustStarDust fairly young. His curiosity is commendable.

Well, I'm not old yet. I know my time will come. I will lose the ability to do many things.
I don't reckon the amount of subs means very much. If we're going to go off numbers, then - atheists are doomed? No. Plus, we don't know what those 828k subs believe in. We don't know if any of those are sock accounts (fake accounts to boost numbers). Plus, if I had more subs than that - does that validate anything I post? No.
I may have a problem with being addicted to information. I'll quite happily sit & listen to hours of ramble by a crazy man, just on the off chance that something may spark my curiosity, even more. Not that it's good to do that & nothing else. One must get up, stretch, exercise, etc. Science tells us that even siting for more than 30 mins is worse then smoking, apparently.

But even if I do that, you'll probably miss the context of the entire discussion. But ok, up to you.

I found this to be interesting...

RE: Piss... Well, considering the cycle of water - one could believe that - no matter what water you drink, it was once someones piss. Or even a dinosaurs piss. Same with the air? Buuut I guess the filtration system of Earth is really good. And there's a body builder on YouTube who mentioned that watermelon filters out a lot of toxins including fluoride... But I can't find it right now. So frustrating.

Hard pass.

Expedition seeks paranormal pit | The Seattle Times
Red Elk (or Gerald Osborne) wore a pouch around his neck that contained a half-dollar-sized piece of what looked like squashed pewter. He said the object, found in the middle of a road, was from a UFO.
