Thanking God for sparing you in a natural disaster is like
sending a thank-you note to a serial killer for stabbing the family next door

It's funny that actual scientific papers dealing with actual scientific evidence in an actually scientific way never start with the words "Scientific proof that..." in their titles.

The first two words you see and they give the game away.

Interesting that the word 'quantum' doesn't appear until near the end of the article. Unless, of course, you include all the quantum wibble in the included video, which is total bollocks, incidentally.

Indeed.
10 years ago, if you told somebody that human consciousness alone can have a direct affect on our physical world they would probably look at you like you’re crazy. Today, however, is a different story. Within the past few years mainstream science is catching on to the fact that yes, consciousness is correlated and can have a direct affect on what we call our physical material world.

Gequirlte Scheisse. There simply is no English expression that covers it quite like that.
Whoever wrote this does not only have a problem with the scientific method but is also fighting a losing battle with the English language.

That article reminds me of these deluded wingnuts, to be found on the "I don't understand cause and effect" part of youtube.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've skimmed an article THAT shitty. Newsflash, folks: aesthetically appealing ice crystals are good, while ugly ones are baaaad.

The results from this earlier study (among others) also showed that the shape and physical structure of water crystals changed after giving good words, playing good music and showing, playing or offering pure prayer to the water.

I wonder what strict, objective criteria they used in that earlier study (among others) to decide what "good music" is

The first necessary step for the guys who wrote that shite would be to understand the difference between "affect" and "effect".
Cause and effect is dealt with in Year 2.

I'm convinced by this cloud busting business. I'm off outside right now to bust clouds. Just think, next time we're faced with a major storm & possible flooding that'll cause millions of pounds worth of damage, I can bust the clouds & save everyone. Then the insurance companies will start paying me to stop floods & I'll be rich!

I see clouds being busted all the time when I'm flying my glider, looking for cumulus clouds marking the tops of thermals.

I always thought it was just the effects of convection, mixing and evaporation, I never realised there were bastards on the ground deliberately making them dissipate. If I get my hands on them ...

I can change water into urine just by thinking about it, especially when I am placed in freezing conditions.

What I cannot do is to turn the concept of freezing water into a giant intellectual puddle of shit. To do that I would have to be the author of the linked article in the OP.

This reminds me of people who say that you can make bad things go away by thinking "happy thoughts." I'm sure that's exactly the thing someone wants to hear when they're being robbed and beaten. "Think happy thoughts."

I'm thinking really hard about making the sun set, if I've got it right it should happen in the next 10-15 minutes.
