I'll get right onto that after running face first into this wall repeatedly until I knock myself unconscious; in this I can at least be assured of success with the added bonus of less head pain.

Well, that didn't last long...

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-48740811

A controversial fundraising page set up by sacked Australian rugby player Israel Folau has been shut down for promoting the exclusion of LGBT people, website GoFundMe says.

Folau had his contract with Rugby Australia (RA) terminated in May after he said that "hell awaits" gay people.

He asked for public donations to help him with a legal fight against RA, arguing it dismissed him unlawfully.

GoFundMe said the page violated its rules. All donations will be refunded.

"As a company, we are absolutely committed to the fight for equality for LGBTIQ+ people and fostering an environment of inclusivity," said spokeswoman Nicola Britton.

"While we welcome GoFundMe's engaging in diverse civil debate, we do not tolerate the promotion of discrimination or exclusion."

It's getting so unfairly hard to be an outspoken bigot these days.

Folau should be happy: he reckons it's intolerable to face the sack for expressing one's religious views. And now, thanks to Rugby Australia, he no longer faces that intolerable situation, and is free to tweet as he pleases. He should be grateful for that gift, which was, no doubt, provided to him courtesy of his revered God's "mysterious ways".

They could just say they don't support violence but I guess they prefer not to prattle.

Who is "they"? Rugby Australia or GoFundMe?

Regardless, both organisations have indeed said that they're not helping Folau get paid because they object to the harm caused by his comments, in line with their pre-existing policies on such matters.

I'm wondering what those who take issue with either RA or GoFundMe's actions would propose? That RA be compelled to employ Folau in spite of a contractual breach? That GoFundMe be compelled to host a fundraiser that doesn't comply with their eligibility criteria? And that all this compulsion be done in the name of FREEDOM!!1! (for Israel Folau to break rules without consequence)?
