In order to assist you in your endeavor, I need to know why you have chosen to pursue it. You haven't said yet.

All processes are designed to accomplish goals. You have one. You wouldn't have chosen "creating a religion," as opposed to, for example, writing out Shinto concepts in a coordinated fashion, if you didn't.

So explain yourself. Why do you think turning Shinto into a religion is necessary or useful?

He's already stated his goal.

You should incorporate this mantra into your new religion.

Grow the fuck up. NEVER ask for someone else to write YOUR philosophy as though it were your own. If you can't figure it out for yourself, then spare us the bollocks that you're here to create a new religion.

It doesn't work like that. This topic will stay on the web for ever and a day... :plot:

I've been planning on establishing a new religion, Lakism. We'll incorporate ideas and dogma from many different religions. For example, I'm bringing back the sale of indulgences. I see no reason why one should not be forgiven for a sin prior to committing it, particularly as we utilize a Zenlike definition of time and causality. We'll make it easier, though. There will be Lakist machines in convenient places, where you can purchase your indulgence(s) at your convenience. Just put in your credit card, select the sins you intend to commit, press the button - PRESTO! You're forgiven! Go and sin some more!

I've also been toying with the idea of Buy-Here-Pay-Here reincarnation. Select your next life, say, billionaire international playboy spy. Now, that's an expensive one, but you can sign a contract and pay it off over time. If we can work out the legalities you'd even be able to pay it off in your next life (subject to certain restrictions and fees, for well qualified buyers only). Think of it as a sort of spiritual mortgage. Why should you trust your future life to the vagaries of karma?

Then there's Spiritual Cash Back. The more you spend, the more you save!

ourview,
I'm ready to join. Please send me $5,000 USD monthly and I will accept membership into your religion. What you'll get in return is a drawing by my hand of a flat line and the words no doctrine written on a postcard. I look forward to being the first inductee.

This doesn't answer my question at all.

Why is it necessary that a new/fake RELIGION be the solution, and not some other kind of discipline?

This is like saying "We need everyone to become Christian, so that the garbage will be emptied on time."
