Has anyone used the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics yet? Surely that proves the Olympians existed! :awesome:

It only counts if you give birth to a Swan, or else it was just the usual alien fact-finding mission.

Which is completely in line with Hesiod's teachings about the Ages of Man. The world started out in a Golden Age, where everything was perfect, but deteriorated through to the Silver, Bronze, Heroic and Iron ages, which were progressively worse, as a result of humans becoming wicked and failing to honour the gods.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_Man

Hence, the second law of thermodynamics proves that the Greek gods exist and are angry at us for failing to properly honour them.

1. Uranus the planet exists
2. Uranus is named after the Greek god of the heavens.
3. therefore the god Uranus exists.

Well, Sunday is named after the Sun and that exists, so it must be true.

Obviously they can be wrong. I never said it was a good argument, did I?

I do believe in the Greek Gods.
I have prayed to them, as well as my friend has. We have given them offerings. We have offered Zeus a pair of airplane wings pin, We have offered Aphrodite a flower ring and a heart shaped bead, We have offered Poseidon control of our local pond, We have offered Athena a golden coin of Sacegewea, we have offered Hephaestus some scrap metal for his blacksmith work, and we have offered Hades an obsidian marbel. We have always gotten what we prayed for, and they have even given us signs they are there. Yesterday, on our local pond, the ducks were being loud all day without one stop. We prayed to Poseidon to show us he was there by silencing the ducks, and he did. Then we asked him to make a certain duck fly toward us, and that one duck did. Is that proof or what?

Ah! The well established 'duck test' also works for witches apparently....

Greece stopped praying to the Greek gods, now look where their economy is. You do the math.
