Probably, but it was likely due to the over-stretched NHS. God was left on a trolly for too long.

Atheists obviously believe the world is entirely consistent with there being no gods, that no miracle claims are true, and a god is unnecessary for everyday reality to continue as is. What do theists think a god is necessary for though?
The question is this. Given that God is real, but he dies at midnight tonight, what will be different tomorrow?
Would theists admit that the frequency of miracle claims will remain the same, and that religious leaders and ordinary believers will continue to claim that they have a connection to or relationship with God/gods/Jesus? Would they claim to be surprised that natural disasters ("acts of God") would continue as before? What changes would they really expect?
Who would notice if God died? How?

Hi, I'm a theist, let me give my two cents. This is all under the assumption that there's a God.
Among His attributes are omnipotence and being eternal. He can't die. It's difficult to answer a question like this. The only answer I can offer is that if God died, the universe would never have existed, in other words it's a situation that could never arise.
