I see.
Spiritual Information = a Force-Field that, er, works against gravity and death.

So, that means that when we physically die we, er, 'float up to heaven and everlasting life'...

I think they've been reading too much science fiction.

Bloody morons.

It's all true, I tell ya.

Arthur C. Clarke foresaw this in his scientific paper "Childhood's End" - peer reviewed by millions.

Someone wrote this about Oprah. They wrote "God is really great" right after writing "she was raped at age 9 & 13"
189 people (possibly more by now) liked that comment. Doesn't any of them see the irony?

So hold on, its selfish to deny yourself the opportunity to participate in JC's grace filled passion?

Surely its selfish to cling onto life to enjoy the opportunity to participate in it?

As Scot said.

So by the same 'reasoning' it would be selfish to make any effort to end or ease ANY pain and suffering, as it "steals" the opportunity for everyone else to "participate" in that suffering; to vicariously experience the suffering of others.

How to actually, realisticly, practically, get rid of evolution, materialism, atheism, and all that, in society.

The only thing that needs to be done to get rid of all these horrible ideas, is to teach the difference between fact and opinion in school.

That is because things like materialism, atheism, and evolution theory are better evaluated as a mental condition, in stead of as ideas about the way things are which they are professed to be. That mental condition is rejection of the validity of subjectivity, which means to say, rejection of opinion altogether, like rejection of opinion about what is beautiful and good.

If you look at the writings of materialists, atheists, and evolutionists, it becomes immediately clear that all their writing is geared towards facts, and opinion is ignored.

For example with social darwinism, what is good and evil is asserted as a fact of biology, not as an opinion. Social darwinism is the essence of evolutionary biology, which is shown by that evolutionary biology is a rejection of creationism.

Creationism is the underlaying philosophy of reasoning in common discourse, we all use creationist logic in daily life. Choosing is the mechanism of creation, and fact and opinion are defined in relation to this mechanism. So if one teaches the difference between fact and opinion in school, then in essence one is teaching creationism.

A fact is defined by that it is a 1 to 1 model of a creation, produced in a forced way, by the evidence of the creation.

For example a book containing a 1 to 1 model of the moon in the form of words, pictures and mathematics, contains all the facts about the moon. What is in the book is forced by the evidence of what the moon actually consists of.

An opinion is defined by that it is a chosen statement about what the agency of a decision is. An opinions is formed by expression of emotion with free will, thus choosing it.

For example when someone says "I find this painting beautiful", he or she is identifying a "love" for the way the painting looks as agency of their decisions.

Students are already taught the difference between fact and opinion, so it is already allowed to teach the difference between fact and opinion in school. Now what only needs to be done is to teach the difference between fact and opinion more precisely and we will be rid of materialism, atheism, and evolution theory.

That is because if people accept the validity of subjectivity, they generally all will choose to believe in God, out of their own free will. The reason materialists, atheists and evolutionists deny God, is because they deny the validity of subjectivity. They deny their own right to choose an opinion on the issue.

Is there a link to that moronic diatribe?

About as stupid as you can get. Opinions can be false. Facts cannot be false (otherwise they wouldn't be 'facts').

I had someone recently argue that he could prove that God exists in two simple steps.

1) We all agree that love exists
2) The bible says "God is love"

End of argument.
Hard to believe he couldn't see that the argument was circular even after I explained it to him.

Nice argument, but it won't work on someone who dismisses the old testament, which all but the real fundamentalists have to do to some extent.
