What's the battiest thing you ever heard an atheist say?

I know, this will just seem like a "stupid things people say" thread. Because it will be very hard to find quotes from atheists where you can tell they are atheists by their batty quotes. That's why I didn't post any. I know there are some out there though, and I promise I'll find some. I should probably start looking in philosophy then, right? :tehe:

Indeed. The battiest things said by theists can usually be seen to have arisen out of their theistic beliefs (gender roles, sexual orientation comments etc. spring to mind.)
It is not so easy to get 'batty' comments from atheists that clearly stem from their atheist worldview, as atheism is not in itself a worldview at all. This suggests that the OP and title is basically asking for 'battiness' that stems from not having a theistic worldview.
Theistic apologists are constantly going on about how not having a theistic worldview leads to all kinds of things (Naziism, communism, lack of morals, nihilism...) but no real evidence of this being the case is ever really presented.

No wonder this thread is basically going nowhere, with almost all comments being on the nature of the thread and not actually 'batty' quotes, while the original theistic thread has gone great guns, finding plenty of examples. :roll:
