Temps are fine. No overclock over factory. No rejected WUs in the log.

Well, I guess I'm a bad person but I dumped the two WUs and now everything looks good again. I really think there was something wrong with those WUs.

By the way, last night I found in a forum that there was in fact a project creating WUs with 50M steps instead of the normal 5M and that wasn't giving proportionately higher points. That was probably what I had though I haven't bothered to look into my old logs to confirm it. The project was paused till it can be fixed.

On another note I determined last night that in fact my motherboard will only support 3 GPUs. I'm disappointed but it can't be helped.
I have a 1200 watt PSU so I don't think that's it.

Kiore, you have fast cards. Do you get a lot of projects 9205 through 9213? I'm getting them all the time and they are really hurting my PPD.

I posted about it here: https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29288&p=289747#p289747

I generally just fold whatever, the low performers are made up in the long run by the ones at the other end of the scale.
I see Bruce has initiated a query with the project manager, so we will see how that goes, one of the issues with 'slow performing' projects is that some people dump them leading to them being reissued to others .

Currently averaging 3.3M PPD.
Over 3 months:
Spent: ~$3835 on hardware.
Made: ~$1315 from folding incentives.
So I'm down ~$2520
If I ever break even I'll build another folding PC and add more GPUs, which I hope will be in about 6 months.

Expensive hobby :-)

I wish laptops were more easily upgraded. I'm folding on a laptop right now, and have a second laptop doing nothing because it has a burned out 7850 radeon gpu, and I wish I could buy two 1050 TIs and stick one in each computer.

Is from folding for teams that issue crytocurrency, only valuable if someone wants to buy it from you. People even sell normal points by renting out equipment to others.

Sorry about the poor stats from me recently - computer problems...

Well, it looks like my computer issues are sorted and my two new watercooled Nvidia Palit JetStream 970s are working a treat.

Yes, it's like anything else, worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. So far I've been able to sell for a total of about $2800.00 Some spent as bitcoin on newegg.com and some converted to USD. So far just buying more folding hardware including a window AC unit and an additional electrical circuit and more GPUs.

the web sites you need are

To earn CURE and FLDC cryptocoins:
https://www.curecoin.net/
http://foldingcoin.net

To exchange CURE and FLDC to bitcoin (BTC)
https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_fldc

To exchange BTC for USD (be aware if you do this you have to pay income tax)
http://www.coinbase.com

Better to spend the BTC at

After allowing for electricity I made over $1000 last month. Used >$700 of it to order a 1080 TI. Can't wait to get that puppy folding.

Okay, so some assistance with troubleshooting if anyone has a moment. I keep getting the following errors trying to download the folding files:

GPU:
"Failed to read stream
13:12:30:Connecting to assign-GPU2.stanford.edu:80
13:12:49:WARNING:Attempting to update GPUs.txt from assign-GPU2.stanford.edu:80:"

CPU:
"******************************* Date: 2017-07-25 *******************************
08:20:43:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 171.67.108.45:8080
08:21:02:WARNING:WU01:FS01:Failed to get ID from '171.67.108.45:8080': 10002: Received short response, expected 8 bytes, got 0
08:21:02:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 171.64.65.35:80
08:21:21:WARNING:WU01:FS01:Failed to get ID from '171.64.65.35:80': 10002: Received short response, expected 8 bytes, got 0
08:21:21:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Could not get an assignment ID"

I've attempted to uninstall the full program and delete all the data files. Did not fix the issue. Also talked with our network administrator, and there hasn't been any changes to the company firewall. Any thoughts or direction?

The short response thing is a connection interuption/dropout, are you having connectivity issues?
