Well if the new 6 core AMDs fit an AM2+ mobo and DDRII, I might consider one, but I hate flashing bio's, probably better to go with a new mobo as well
The hex core Intel probably even better performance wise but can imagine what the start price on them will be..
For once my internet connections al working at the same time this week, unsure how long this little miracle will last.

Yes saw this, they say they were demo mockups but an incredible error to make.. Why if they were demos didn't they have demonstration only or something written on them and why fake the seals etc..

Good to see you, Richard has been folding and BOINCing for a long time and was a driving force behind the distributed computing effort at RDnet.
Speaking of the RDFRS team, congratulations to that team's founder Ohnhai for passing his 1 million point milestone.

Welcome Richard!

Congo Rats to Ohnhai, that is a lot of folding!

Welcome new team member Dalmat
Please drop by and say hello, new team members very welcome. Although we are now in the top 100 on daily production, we are still a very new team, less than 2 weeks old... so to be already making waves is great.
 everyone.

What'd he do spill his coke into it? Man, this is getting to be a long story, still running low on things to break now. :?

I don't know, but if he did there's hope for more broken stuff. I can't help but feel he got this computer repair business all wrong...

Well I guess that's one way to keep your repair business busy..Not so good on the economics I would think but hope it works out in your benefit. 8-)

Another familiar name! You need to change the team number only, to 182116 keep the same user name and passkey and all individual credits are combined, though on the team score you appear to have returned to zero.
On systray clients this is done via the icon>right click> configure> write in team number.
Consoles are a little more tricky but still easy enough:
Editing a Console Client:
For console clients to change team numbers or add passkeys you need to: stop the client via Ctrl C> go to shortcut and right click> go to properties> add the flag -configonly in target> restart client. You should now return to the original console box and can change add your details there.
Then go back to the shortcut and remove the -configonly flag and launch console again.

Get Passkeys from here:
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py

I don't guarantee that these will be useful, but from past experience when bonuses were introduced you were required to have one and have completed 10 appropriate workunits with an 80% success rate in order to qualify, keep your passkey safe and use only one. The only current advantage they have (except for bigadv and A3 smps) is that they prevent identity issues with folders with similar names.

Welcome 'new' team member mattydouglas first points on the board already with a gpu unit complete.
Team output has already jumped past 200k a day and looking likely that we will be in the top 1000 teams in just a few days.
Should be able to have our individual stats sigs this weekend.

p2485_Arginine_Fragment no. of atoms 97177 deadline:42.00days final deadline:93.00 points: 905.00

Used to get projects like these on winUniprocessor, big units with long deadines used to take me 2 days to complete on my Phenom quad, are you getting these on your mac? I know that there has been a shortage of v5 units for ppc macs, I know in the past when there were shortages of PS3 units or server problems, big units have been issued to deal with the shortages.
Are you having problems or is it just slow?
