BEIJING: Technology firm Foxconn will employ one million robots to replace human labour in China in the next three years.

"Robots are more accurate and adaptive than workers," China Daily reported Monday quoting Xie Gang, professor at the School of Information Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology.

Foxconn is one of the largest corporations in the electronic assembling industry in China.

news from china comes out in snippets. :) but you can say that twice. I posted here so that others might get any news similar to this, what kind of robots are we talking about, I dont think they are humanoid, not enough cheap technology yet or else they would replace the army first before labor.

Hmmm...

Using robots for mass assembly of interchangeable parts...why does the phrase "automated assembly line" come to mind?

Why is this news in any way?

No, of course not.
