What the fuck are you talking about?

You claim to be an historian? Did you forget the churches "inquisition/campaign against those who translated the wibble into indigenous languages?

Why the Latin? Culture? Or..Support for the dogma? Whats "Armarium Magnus" mean in your mother tongue? Why not be plain? Why use the language, the dead language, of "the church"? The language that caused so many deaths to those who had the audacity to translate it, print it and speak it in "their mother tongue". Are you seriously saying, you do not understand the issue? Really?

also the language in which modern science took its first baby steps.

oh fuck, we're talking in English, a language also used by neo-conservative hawks, why the English? why the English? why give such implicit support to retarded KJV-only Christians?

I don't actually.

Did you forget the churches "inquisition/campaign against those who translated the wibble into indigenous languages?

The Church quite happily translated the Bible into Syraic, Ge'ez, Slavonic, Gothic, Anglo-Saxon, Old High German, French, Catalan and Lithuanian. What was banned were "unauthorised" translations, especially those made and used by heretical sects.

Why the Latin?

Gosh, James - maybe if you put on your thinking cap you might be able to come up with a reason the title of a blog on ROMAN and MEDIEVAL history is in Latin. See how you go.

Or..Support for the dogma?

Don't be so fucking stupid.

Whats "Armarium Magnus" mean in your mother tongue?

The very first thing anyone sees when they go to my blog are the words on the left that read: ""Armarium Magnum" translates roughly as 'the big book cabinet'." Too hard for you James?

Why not be plain?

Yes, because "plain" titles are so much better. I can't for the life of me think why I didn't call it "A Blog About History Books and Related Matters". That would be a vast improvement.

Why use the language, the dead language, of "the church"?

And the dead language of the Romans. And the dead language of all literate people in the Middle Ages. Getting a clue yet sonny?

The language that caused so many deaths to those who had the audacity to translate it, print it and speak it in "their mother tongue".

That is so fucking stupid it's making my brain hurt.

 Are you seriously saying, you do not understand the issue? Really?

I'm seriously saying that this brainless trolling vendetta of yours is getting deeply weird. Go away.
