European Polytheistic Reconstructionism and Islam

Polytheism within a single faith is not polytheism in the sense that Muhammad destroyed the idols in the Ka'aba - those idols represented an extremely wide variety of different faiths. When Muhammad pbuh instructed the Shahada it doesn't mean there is no God but Allah (monotheism) it means there is no religion but Islam which would mean a singular global caliphate would need be imposed - that would be an unacceptable violation of moderate variety. Marriage law reform along the lines of moderate polygyny seems to only be possible along the lines of a faith and adultery can only be criminalised where moderate polygyny is acceptable. The interaction between marriage law and a secular culture makes integrative theocratic elements unavoidable - theology is different to something which need be opposed where faith is concerned. Atheism is just a word. Faith is a stronger word.

Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism may hold some answers. It's not really the West versus Islam, it's Christianity versus Islam - the battle of two faiths. There need be a strong and nationalistic current of some faith which isn't Yahwean in the West. I thought Shia Islam had enough of the answers but it's called Islam so it's not a runner afterall although there's more to learn there I'm sure. It is well known that the Islamic calendar starts around 600CE but less so that the Persian (Iranian) calendar starts in a different month, and the benefits of knowing deep thirst in Ramadan, for example. The Mullahs say too many things like “no music”, “no chess”, “no dogs”, “no gambling” and “no alcohol” anyway.
