This person seems to be gaining increasing notoriety as an Islamic apologist. So the following video, which gives a bit of understanding about his background, might prove interesting. At the very least, it's kind of amusing:
One additional piece of information: The video mentions there is some mystery regarding Tzortzis' educational background and professional qualifications. However, I remember there was a Wikipedia article about him that mentioned that his training is in information technology. So, obviously well-qualified to write papers about about embryology.
At the time I read that article, there was a note saying Wiki was considering removing it as Tzortzis was not considered an important enough figure to warrant an article. Which now seems to have happened.
