I've joined Islam

But I don't know how to pray. The wiki page is so nebulous as to be practically useless. I'm calling tinfoil hat on an Islamophobia tip actually. Asalamu alaikum.

Once I joined a political party. Lasted about 2 days till I went to first bureau meeting. No mamasitas just a bunch of cunts! Did not even get a membership card.

Do you have a compass, a wristwatch and a carpet?

I need to get round to leaving the labour party actually. Every month that donantion goes out. I find Miliband's support for same sex marriage cretinously intollerable. I don't know how to leave the labour party - it's like a shrouded secret, or apostacy.

East is east. Can't make up my mind about intoxicants and don't know how to pray tho; I'm such a kufar...and yet. Still no prayer mat. Don't know how to pray. Should get a wrist watch. Intoxicants are a real sticker.

Experience is the only knowledge.

But seriously, if I wanted to know more about Islam I'd go to a local mosque as our local Muslims seem alright despite their women cover too much for my taste. Last time we went to talk, we actually agreed on couple of issues, not the means to reach them though. They gave us uni press publication on Islam in the USA and some cookies. No intoxicants, not even for Hashishin, go figure.

I don't believe in my county's recent military deployments. The primary victims happen to be muslim, to boot. Islam means "surrender to god" and military means "surrender to command authority". There need be some surrender.

From where I sit, there needs to be a dialog. If surrender, of hostilities, precedes it, then whats left? Western democracies often act like those who are to give advices, yet they fail to listen, look in a mirror and uphold their own principles. Give it time.

Someone mention surrender? I thought Islam meant submission...

And this shows how to pray.

Good luck with your spiritual journey. Maybe the people at Shrunk's new forum can help you out with all your praying concerns.

Do you agree with the tifoil hat brigade RE the wiki prayer page? Fiqh - Islamic justice.

I tried to leave the Labor party here in Australia and they just refused to take no for an answer. They kept ringing me asking me to renew my membership by credit card over the phone. After saying "no" on about 3 seperate occasions, they just went ahead and billed my credit card for another year's membership. Corrupt fuckers.
