I've come across this one:

http://www.babbel.com/?locale=en

I think it is sponsored by the EU

I use Duolingo sometimes. It's good fun, but you have to use it in conjunction with other things if you want to learn a language, because there's no communication involved.

That's always crucial when learning a language, but still, free lessons....

There are loads of free resources out there (especially if you live in Vietnam and can therefore get anything for free).

If you don't mind me hijacking your thread, Lyrics Training is a great website for listening practice. They've got a huge catalogue of songs in 7 languages atm.

There's also italki, where you can meet people to have Skype conversations with in a particular language.

No problem, spread as much free knowledge as possible!

I took their poll about a year ago when I signed up to have Japanese added. I guess they still haven't gotten to it.

Interesting factoid: This is the same company that does the Captia human verification on site logins and form submits that at the same time is a crowd sourcer for interpreting scanned text for digital archiving books.
