We say cunt all the time. My boyfriend loves to call me a cunt. I call my mom and sister cunts. It's a national passtime.

It is not however a Canadian who equated girly parts with the vagina.

The whole thing is called "female genitalia" just as the whole thing on a male is "male genitalia".

"Vulva" isn't a part. It's all the external parts of which the vagina ia not a part. Only the vaginal opening, "the hole", is part of the vulva.

The vagina is the tube that leads to the cervix and then uterus. That's it.

Is that what you call them?
We call them "Americans".

I'm in agreement. It seems this is an issue that needs to be addressed here.

I was going to make a comment about a Vulva being a Swedish make of motor vehicle, but seeing that I got a distinction for anatomy at university, I'll accept that what you're saying is technically correct Rachel.

For future reference though, what many non- Nth American english speakers refer to as a fanny, you guys would call a pussy. And we still laugh at you kicking someone up the fanny. Well, some of us wince actually...

But I don't even know the names of all the parts of the male genitalia yet.

Hey Rachel , ever heard of beaver !
When my wife came to Canada in the mid 90's , she got fond of the symbol of Canada and read books and watched program about the dam(n) builders .
When we got the internet over 10 years ago , my wife who is of french european origin had beaver in her Email name and in forum user names , , and wondered why she was getting all kind of unwanted sexual replies ! :naughty2: .
As long as it gave itself clear moral rules, a society of atheists could function just as well as any other ; Its citizens just as trustworthy, charitable, passionate for justice and loyal to their friends as any other .

Well, now that this thread was split to a science forum keep the banter to a minimum and cut out the silliness. Scientists don't do that humour thingy... :coffee:

It should be in cunnilinguistics.

"Fanny/girly bits/pussy" et cetera actually generally refer to the compound "part" of both the vulva and the vagina; according to the context, however, the focus is either external (vulva) or internal (vagina). It is the same as saying "package/junk" with men, which refers to either or both the penis and the testes/scrotum accordingly.

Rachel Bronwyn wrote:I just thought it might refer to women getting fat after having kids or something which almost made sense but didn't entirely.

Seems awfully silly to refer to the entirety of the female genitalia as singular. If fanny = girl parts, it's not a singular entity. If fanny = vagina then it doesn't refer to girl parts at all. It refers to A girl part - the fibromuscular tubular tract between the outside of the body and the uterus. "Vagina" does not mean "female ganitalia". It is but one small part of the puzzle.

I'm not American either.

i just saw a show on aljazeerah cable that CANADA has in recent times launched themselves on a fanatical pro israel campaign and gods promise of free land for special persons.. So one wouldnt be promoting one's Canadian credentials for a while ...

which means Canadians have turned themselves into a nation of female genetilias eg ccccccrunts

Since we're being picky, you are just as American as those from The USA and Mexico, etc. Your continent is America, or am I mistaken?
