AAA Convention Oct. 7-9 Huston Tex.

#1  Postby VanYoungman » Sep 16, 2011 6:05 pm

Looking for those RatSkep members who plan to be in Houston Oct. 7-9th for the Annual American Atheist Alliance convention held in conjunction with the Texas Freethinkers annual shebang. Dawkins, et al will be there.

I will be coming from Philadelphia and would like to meet informally with anyone interested.

Standard & Poor have lowered their credit rating, it should now read AA2.

If he was, he had a few powerful experiences. If he wasn't he missed something big: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/10/books ... .html?_r=1

Whatever, if he did, I missed him.

“though I may not get there unless someone comes up with some ethanol-based cancer treatment in Omaha.”

The man is irrepressible.

How was the convention?
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

The convention was surely a delightful intellectual experience. The presentations were superb as well as enlightening.
