Save the date for the first ever debate hosted by the Secular Student Alliance at USA. Dr. John Coker, Chairperson of the USA Philosophy Department, will be moderating the debate.

Dan Barker is the co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation as well as a former minister. The foundations most recent campaign is QUIT THE CHURCH: PUT WOMEN’S RIGHTS OVER BISHOP’S WRONGS. Dan Barker is the author of Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist, Godless: How An Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists, and Good Atheist: Living a Purpose-Filled Life Without God. Find more information about Dan Barker and Freedom From Religion Foundation at www.ffrf.org

Dr. Robert Fastiggi is the Professor of Systematic Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, MI. Dr. Fastiggi received an A.B. in Religion (summa cum laude) from Dartmouth College in 1974; a M.A. in Theology from Fordham University in 1976; and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Fordham in 1987. In addition, he has done private research in Paris and Montréal, and he took part in a study-tour of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain sponsored by the National Council for U.S.-Arab relations.

If you're in the Pensacola area, my group will be carpooling to the event.
