My outbound PMs don't seem to be working. But I got yours ginckgo about Friday, all good!

My mobile number is the same as previously advised - but I will also have mobile forum access if that's easier.

Looking forward to seeing you again,

Cheers

Karen.

Good thought - but my Inbox is saying only 1% full so I'm not sure that's the problem?

I'll delete the two from 2010 and see if that helps?

Cheers

OK went to export them before deleting - and all of a sudden the outbound ones left my outbox. (I work in IT you'd think I'd be used to random stuff like that!)

So Gingckgo is now getting spammed with my attempts at communication - sorry about that!

:)

Cheers

PMs stay in your outbox until they're read.

I'm at the airport, waiting to board my plane. The sadness at leaving my friends and the comeraderie of like minded, rational, reasoned people is somewhat compensated for by my forgetting that I'd upgraded to Business Class for the flight home as the cattle class seats had all sold out.

@ Mr Dawkins, Mr Krauss.
A fair few empty seats I see.

Beautiful weather outside.

I think almost everyone in Melbourne was at the Botanic Gardens on Sunday.

One of the crowd shots I took was just as I arrived and the auditorium hadn't filled up. Most of the sessions (except for the early Sunday session) were full or close to it. Perhaps the explanation for the Sunday session's lower numbers in the 1st hour was that some atheists had been converted by the spiteful, vicious, aggressive Christian protestors the day before who came to hurl insults and abuse the atheists.

How awful for them.

I just cant imagine WHAT type of rational atheist would be persuaded in any way by proselytizing coming from a bunch of shouting, herd mentality, in-your-face, spiteful, vicious, aggressive, insulting, abusive folk hanging around together.

I see what you did there.

Good thing you can't see what I'm doing here.

For what it's worth Lion, I took the lady aside for 15 mins and had a nice chat with her in a calm and rational manner and we exchanged ideas and reasons for our position. I would have stayed for more, but the afternoon session of the conference beckoned.

I'm sure you're trying make some salient point here, but as usual I can't discern it.

Remember the Muslim protestors?

They were associated with al-furqan, the group raided on suspicion of terrorist related activities last week (one arrested so far).
