Surely one of the world's most accomplished photographers, displaying at the Natural History Museum in London until 8th September 2013. Got to be worth a visit.

Yes, TED has joined the BBC on the condescension bandwagon and has subtitled his perfectly clear English.

Why does everything good happen in London? Do they have any idea how much it costs to get down there on a train? There are other cities on the Isles.

My uncle is a huge fan. So I've been seeing Salgado's pics for a long time. Would have loved to go to the exhibition.

I remember before Wembley was replaced and there was talk of a "national stadium" on the radio; Radio 2 I believe. There were people calling in from all over the country saying that it should be in Birmingham as it's a big ass city and it's pretty much bang in the middle of the country... (England at least). Even people from Wales and Scotland were ringing up backing the idea. You then had people from London ringing in and I shit you not this is as close to verbatim as I can recall, and as phonetically close as I can manage.

Caller from London: "Nah I dan't fink the nationul staydium should be in berminam, landans va capi'ol innit"
Host: "But a national stadium will play host to people from all over the country including Scotland"
Caller from London: "Hours peopul from landan ment'ta get up to berminam?"
Caller from Scotland "How are people from Scotland meant to get to London?"
Caller from London: "landans va capi'ol innit"
