Yes, that was lovely!

I was saying too that I'd love to go to a big meet though. There's lots of people I'd love to meet.

I wanted to go to the London one but it was during the week and I was working.

We should have big fat meet-up somewhere central, on a Saturday or Sunday. Problem is I think everyone's spread out different corners of the country. (Paula's even in some remote northern principality somewhere!)

Why the fuck do you people never meet up around here somewhere? Would somebody think of the broke students?

(Although ratteh and katja did pop by Vienna once. Unfortunately I was in Germany at exactly that time. )
- Pam.
- Yes?

As long as there's an airport nearish I can fly to most of the UK. In fact I live so far north that flying somewhere in Engerland would be easier and quicker than driving to some places. If you know what I mean.

I'm a wife and I hate you, so yes.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Birmingham is nice and central...

Perhaps we need a ratskepticon version of this:
"Skepticon is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments [related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religious identity], deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Assuming the absence of problematic behavior (intimidation, following, inappropriate physical contact, etc.), criticism or disagreement regarding an attendee’s belief structure will not be construed as harassment. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately."
