All right, I can't resist: Pink Floyd.

Echoes (live at the Royal Albert Hall)

Dogs

And of course, there's the Pulse concert. Impossible to match, by anyone, forever.

Lessee, bit of a roll call here ... what have we got so far?
Wolfmother (never heard of, thanks for bringing them to my attention)
Focus (had forgotten about them, read an interview with the guitarist, he seemed a bit full of it)
Led Zeppelin
Nazareth
Bob Seger (sorry, another one I never heard of, but, I think I nailed about 2 out of three of the guitarists)
The Who (Pete Townsend, one of the greatest schnozzolas in rock music)
Thin Lizzy
Rolling Stones
Bruce Springsteen
Arthur Brown (his way of singing must have influenced scores of heavy metal dudes)
Neil Young
Black Sabbath
Deep Purple
Tomorrow
Iggy and the Stooges
Cream (lovely, chairman)
Free
Kinks (hey Globe! Good on you!)
Queen
Joe Satriani (but is this rock? is it even boogie? I'm ... er ... dazed and confused ...)
The Clash
Grand Funk Railroad
Jimi Hendrix
Monster Magnet
Ten Years After
AC/DC
Pink Floyd
So, so far, that's 27.
I have been sort of waiting for AC/DC.
Here's another one:

Yeah. Looks like a whole load of tracks have been put on there by the same person.

This one has been available for ages though, short but sweet

and from around the same time (I remember seeing this the first time it was aired!)

MrsC reckons this to be the best Be Bop D track:

Wot no Doors?

I'd like to submit LA Woman - but the computer won't let me link properly to youtube, so you'll have to just copy and paste ;

A worthy inclusion IMHO!!
Would you like a cup of tea with that?

Hey Melchior! Long time no see! Yep, The Doors surely deserve a place in a Bestest Famousest Rock Song Song list. And why not LA Woman?
Now, that brings me to a problem. To wit, where are the gals? Dames? Ladies? The rocking females? How about TIna Turner (Steamy Windows comes to mind) but there are others ...

And, of course

Mrs C (by which I am referring to MY wife) loves this one.
