Of course, he already thought of that. Lazarus is the sequel.

I didn't know that.
I recall watching the '76 film many years ago on VHS. Reviews of the stage play leave me keen to see a follow-up to the original story.

Someone on Facebook posted this wonderfully naïve newsclip about the one show I say Bowie perform (in Winnipeg). Don't miss the part at 4:20.

Woe Canada:

David Bowie got predictable Twitter tributes from the federal party leaders. When it came to eulogizing Bowie, the reactions didn't go very deep: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau noted the song "Under Pressure" (which he probably first heard when it appeared on Queen's Greatest Hits album around the time he turned 10) while NDP leader Thomas Mulcair's account alluded to the omnipresent "Space Oddity." Meanwhile, interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose might've revealed a little too much about her musical taste. At first, she referenced the atrocious Live Aid duet with Mick Jagger—then, perhaps in response to snickering, she added "Let's Dance" 15 minutes later. Stephen Harper's opinion would've been way better, if only on this one topic.

I actually think Harper would have had the best response. Which is really, really scary.

^ Loved him in that episode, he played it to perfection. :)

I don’t think we’re for anything, we’re just products of evolution. You can say “Gee, your life must be pretty bleak if you don’t think there’s a purpose,” but I’m anticipating a good lunch.

She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!
