Music better than Nirvana's Teen Spirit thingy

#4504  Postby jamest » Feb 08, 2020 5:07 am

I fuckin' love Stone Roses: I Wanna Be Adored.
And no, that's obviously not anything to do with a personal desire here. Just chewin' the music.

Beat it, if you can.

Skip the ad ~ (bottom right) and give it a minute or so. Bliss.

That's what this thread is about, isn't it? What music you like more than some other. You conflate "like better" with "is better". Unless you can provide an objective standard by which to evaluate "good music", this thread is mistitled and obviously all about personal desire here.

Lighten up, squire. I respect your taste in music. I even like classical musical too, though thought is was obvious that given the thread title that classical wasn't on my mind.

Jazz and classical, the main listening. Rock music only occasionally now. Mostly nostalgia driven, getting older I guess. Bruckner quite nice. Miles Davis except for his newer stuff.

Foo Fighters are popular right now. Although that's another story.

What is the point of this thread? If you don’t like Smells Like Teen Spirit, anything could be better than it.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Also, there's a music sub forum for, you know, music themed threads.
Well that was awkward.
