Me too, I thought it was from the early 90's. It was ahead of it's time. :)
I like some Adele songs too. I don't think I know any Beyonce songs. I have one playing now, "Sorry". I'm "sorry" I clicked on it. :teef:.

One of my all-time favourite song performances is "I'm under your spell", by Amber Benson (accompanied by Alyson Hannigan), in the episode, "Once More with Feeling", in season 6 of "Buffy the Vampire-Slayer".
Another is a song performed by Julie Benz, as Darla, in the Angel episode, "The Trial" (season 2).
She has a kind of gravelly voice and professes to hating singing, but I love that song, nonetheless. It doesn't seem to have a title.
May The Voice be with you!

It seems I pushed my teenage daughter at appreciating something else then R&B, Rap, soul or hiphop: Grinderman! Just now she stayed in the car just to listen to this until the end:
"Damn it! Why am I arguing shit on the internet again!?"

I know that song, I didn't know it was Beyonce. I don't like it and I wouldn't put a ring on it.

Beyoncé et al. look like they're having convulsions compared to these smooth-moving gals. Also, clothes.

Yes, Pipez, it was reported at the time that the Beyoncé dance was a 'homage' to Bob Fosse. There are a lot of his trademark moves in there. All the head nodding and single leg tapping or jigging on the spot are Fosse moves, as is the stuff where they run/walk around in a circle, hold their arms cocked at the wrist, the hip thrusting and the famous side-on arms pumping downwards and legs moving in time move. See 2.22 in the old video and 0.41 in the Beyoncé video for that last one.

Hmm, I've never heard of Bob Fosse.
So what's the deal with the sentences at the bottom of the screen? Is that the original song?

No, that's someone writing their own 'amusing' captions to fit in with the moves.

Brilliant station, and the local ads are a hoot.

Can you beat a dj named Dick Palm?

It's our classic rock station covering most of northern Maine. There's one around Bangor too, like Roger Johnson or something, I forgot the name unfortunately.

My insurance company is F.A.Peabody, who use "FAP" for short. It's all over the place, FAP. I have a fap cap for fun.

OK, things are getting weird, my thirteen year old daughter is putting Joy Division in the CD player and liking it. She's lost control.

For comparison this is more her usual fare (she even does the dance - but more like the boys in the clip than the girls).
