How in the name of Satan's massive hairy balls did I miss this thread for so long? Image

Here's some more METAL for you guys:

Dethklok - Laser Cannon Deth Sentence

Manowar - Hand of Doom

Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God

Dethklok, although they're a fictitious, comedy band, have now put out two albums. The above tune is one of my favorites for its sheer METALNESS!

I love a lot of drone doom.

I need to listen to more metal in general, though.

I'm gonna have to check out some of those bands you posted.

You may like the following:

Theory In Practice

Alchemist

Genghis Tron

Concentric (not really metal though)

Now from some prog black:

Alchemist aren't really my cup of tea, but their war of the worlds cover is pretty cool.

i hadn't heard genghis tron or concentric but yeah, i checked 'em out and i like their sounds; especially concentric.

some other aussie bands (additionally to alchemist) you might like:
Alarum
Psycroptic

I am not much of a Metal head, but here are some good stuff not yet mentioned in this thread:

Tiamat, (the best band ever in my world) here is one of there more heavy songs.

FinnTroll (they are singing in swedish)

Does Type O Negative count? They are great anyway.
