I had the pleasure of seeing Queensryche live a few years back, as well as Iron Maiden before they split.

That was poor word chose. I meant before they left the USA. I saw them last summer and they never tour North America that extensively

Ah. I googled 'Iron Maiden split' but just got videos of their gigs in Split in Croatia.

I never got around to seeing them live, but I was once on a flight from Greece on which the co-pilot was none other than Bruce Dickinson!

Yes... God was my co-pilot!!!

I've seen Maiden twice, and they were great both times. Bruce Bruce was running from one end of the stage to the other like an insane spider monkey the whole time, hope I have that much energy when I'm his age.

I did see Queensryche once about a decade ago, that was pretty disappointing. They'd go back and forth between stuff before and after Promised Land, I thought the later stuff was terrible. I dream of the day I'll get to see them perform Warning in its entirety!

I have been listening to the album The Unforgiving for quite some time non-stop now. It is definitely a well produced album.

NEED MORE METAL GUYS!!!!

I just got the live album/DVD/Documentary and my fucking word it is amazing.

Sorry to Tarja and Annete, but Floor Jensen kicks both of their butts when it comes to stage presence and her voice is easily comparable.

I mean She Is My Sin and Romanticide are written for Tarja and yet she sings both of them as if she was meant for them. Glad she is here to stay with Nightwish!

Also I wish I lived in Germany, or anywhere in Europe so I could go to a music fest like Wacken Open Air. :waah:

What a charming little ditty. :dopey:

I liked the bit that sounded like a piano full of cats falling down a liftshaft. Oh wait... that was all of it.

So I really loved Xandria with this singer and now she is gone. Xandria has gone through too many singers.

I accidentally bought Hellwood by Hunter, a Polish Metal band. It's actually not bad. Not really my thing, but worth having as part of my music library.
