I'm going to an Amenra concert on the 8th. How did they talk me into a sludge metal concert?

I do like Ghost.

I've seen Metallica once. It cost me a fiver. Which turns out was about as much as I'm prepared to pay to see them. The "Thing that should not be" was a bucket list moment to see live but, otherwise, meh.

I've seen them a few times and really enjoyed it. And Justice For All.. in Birmingham was a storm, but when I watched them play Milton Keynes Bowl the infamous troubles the bassist Jason Newsread suffered was all too evident. He was left alone, to attempt a solo, for over half an hour. It was disgraceful. Dave Mustaine was on stage and he had a public handshake with Hetfield, then they all walked off. Turds

I'm hoping them play mostly old stuff. Black album and earlier.

Man, Painkiller is just the tits. Hands down favorite Priest song. That fucking chorus, and those vocals. They have been hit or miss over the years, but for that style of Metal its them and Maiden as the kings. British Steel and Painkiller (the album) are probably the best of their 80s, I've liked what I've heard since Halford came back, but I've not listened to any huge amount.

This is the most enjoyable metal album I've heard this year. Alkaloid are a super group formed from members of death metal bands like Obscura and Aborted, but here, in this progressive metal album, they've decided not to be constrained by the genre and the songs are quite diverse.
