Musicians of the fora - post your ware

#1  Postby campermon » Feb 26, 2010 10:47 pm

Here's our first attempt;

"We'll be fighting on the threads
and we might lose our heads
and the Dawkins that we worship will be gone

and the man who spurred us on
gave us Timonen
he decided that the forum would be gone

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
laugh out loud at the 'supperating rectum'
smile and grin at the change all around
take up my keyboard and play
just like yesterday
and i'll get on my knees and pray

That we don't get fooled again!

The change it had to come
we knew it all along
We didn't know it would be a blog
but the new forum looks the same
the posters haven't changed
Coz the avatars were safe from Timonen

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
laugh out loud at the 'supperating rectum'
smile and grin at the change all around
take up my keyboard and play
just like yesterday
and i'll get on my knees and pray

That we don't get fooled again!"

Crap! That reminds me. I'd better archive all the Orson and Dunsapy posts separately, or I'll never find them at the end of the year.

Second! If anything ever deserved an Orson it is this!

A few bits and bobs:

Frustration
Deviant
When The Moon Cries
Sea Shed
Bright Light

All but the first two are works in progress.

And a few bits I did for other people:

Oblivion
Eleanor
Slippery

This messy pile of shite is what happens when you do one take and try to improvise the whole thing :?

This has ruined my favourite song of all time for me

I've been playing for about 6 years (I think). I had lessons for a few months, but since them I've taught myself.

Nice, campermon!  I actually DID LOL at the 'suppurating rectum' I noticed you did too. One thing though, my buddy made a big ass crack in the side of my Martin using it as a drum like that (I know, it's fun, but I'm careful now.)

Once I finish spring cleaning and drop my parents at the airport, I'll set up to shoot some video...

I have no musical skills whatsoever...

...unless you count banging to sticks together :shifty:

I'll post a video of my niece, the only one in our family with musical talents.

Let's not a little thing like 'musical skills' get in the way!
