Man, this has got to be one of my all-time favorite tunes.

And now, for something completely different :smoke:

The there's Pharoah Sanders. Couldn't find a whole version of this track, but this is a great sample of it. Bliss out.

And of course, I bow to the master:

Moondog. Such beauty coming from a blind vagrant Norse god living in the streets of New York City. AKA The Viking of 6th Avenue...

Hey, we're getting the good stuff here - I love the Ayler btw.

Shrunk wrote:Crazy theme, that one. Ever try singing it? (We don't hear it until the end on the video.)

Trivia: The title "Evidence" was chosen because the tune is based on the changes of "Just You, Just Me", which could be shortened to "Just Us", which sounds like "Justice" and, in order for justice to be done, one must have....

I like the Town Hall clip just because it has all that chatting around and hanging about in it :D Here's another version.... sing-a-long now everybody

@Tbickle: Thanks for the Rollins - I hadn't come across that one before. The melody never stops when Rollins is soloing.

And what about the beret? Only a few can get away with that.

Not strictly Jazz, but checkout Mr Rollins with Mr Cohen, and see what happens when two forces of nature collide...

Starts out nice and gentle and rolls into a drum solo if you're having a little difficulty getting up. ;)

Splendid stuff MoS. Put me in mind of this other Brubeck tune, here done by Paddy Milner's band in Paris.
