Natacha Atlas from Something Dangerous:

Got this album for cheap from a sale recently. I suppose they were trying to make Ms. Atlas a mainstream star with it, which is why it's the least interesting link in her discography (that I know of). Still marginally classifiable as "world music".

Hey, it's all 'world music' really isn't it? :D

A bit of late night Indian Carnatic music from someone who looks about 14yo. :D

If this one doesn't make the hair on your neck stand up, you are already dead. This is a very old version. It's since been recorded by the Tsinandali Choir, if you want to hear a clearer recording.

And on a lighter note, here's a Bengali love song given the modern funk/jazz treatment.
