Better late than never

#1  Postby Pandora TP » Nov 23, 2011 9:22 pm

Hi, I used to post on the old RD forum but am only posting now because I couldn't stand some of the mods on the old place; they're not here though so hi all.

I recently came to terms with being a bit of a cultural Christian and I must say it feels really good to be able to get into Christmas and cherry pick the good bits of xtianity (eg. Bach and the architecture) whilst simultaneously being a strict atheist. I hear they're into their atheistic christianity on the continent but I haven't had any luck finding such a congregation over here...yet. I might even sing some carols this year!

Cheers,

PT

Welcome, Pandora TP, good to have you on board. I'm rather fond of carols and choral music myself!

Hi

I'm rather fond of Carol as well.

Some of the mods are still here I think, but they've improved a bit since those days.

Have fun.

Welcome Pandora TP

IO hope you enjoy your time here! Can't say I'm a cultural Christian myself, I guess I was before though for a long time. I just find most of it rather boring to be honest. Perhaps the Christmas bug is understandable, but that's not really all that much got to do with Christ now is it. :)

Cheers!

Cheers all,

Yes the Christmas bug; I've definitely caught it this year. I look forward to the festivities because I've been a strict antitheist in recent years, to the point of wholly vilifying Christmas/Easter. Those days may well be gone however! Ding dong verily get high!..(those are the words, right?)
