Give him a break, guys. The post is topped and tailed with sympathy, and the middle is empathy.
:)

Tony made a new post yesterday, he's saying he's over the worst. :)

If no one was impolite, why does anyone need to give him a break?

Tony, there's nothing counsellory in that message, promise.

One need not be bluntly impolite to blow smoke up another's ass, I guess.

It's not the money that's the problem - it's the occupational therapy.

You know what blowing smoke up someone's arse means, right? Because that definitely didn't happen.

Sartre had a good line about other people. Jk.

Why do you guess that?

I don't mean to look like I'm on your case, KIR, but this place ain't for therapy, group or otherwise. If it was, my input would be pretty different. The thread was started by Tony to show us his blog.

Thanks, people. Sorry not to have replied here sooner but, after getting out of the dark place I was in with the help of some friends, I got on a mission to give myself focus and, not having shared it here, it didn't occur to me that somebody else might have done. I should have guessed.

Not that I remotely have a problem with that. It was considerably closer than I've ever come before.

Thanks for the concern, and I'm sorry if anybody was unduly worried. I'm getting there, and I have purpose.

Which reminds me:

If you have a Youtube channel, or the ear of somebody with a big channel, please ask them to mirror.

If you have a twitter account, here's the tweet to share and retweet.

If you can donate, please do.

Sorry for the link-dump. There's a little over 4 days left to reach the target of a paltry $20,000. The campaign has been running for a little over a month and it isn't even halfway yet.

This organisation saved and helped to rebuild the life of one of my dearest friends, and she was one of the two people that pulled me back from the edge so, in a very real sense, I owe them my life. Anything you can do to amplify this will earn my eternal gratitude.

Again, sorry if I caused anybody concern.

Edit: Oh, and here's the script as it appears on my blog, for those who don't like streaming videos:

I am sure Ironclad's repeated inflammatory postings to Fallible has been condoned by the moderators. What else can I conclude since they have completely ignored every one of my reports. Or, maybe the email notifying me of the moderator's negligence decision to do nothing is stuck in the broken notification system. Oh if only there were an alternative method to send private messages to forum members when the moderators decide not to do their jobs.

ah, so i'm not the only one being ignored in these matters? i assumed i was just being shrugged off because of who i am... solidarity, brother...

edit - and, interestingly, though probably unsurprisingly, one of the posts i've reported from early jan seems to have been deactivated...even though it was exactly the same behaviour as the member had just been advised for in a different thread...
