Is he a scouser? I thought I detected an accent in some of those posts.

Widnes. So "wannabe" scouser really.

I'm from Preccy. We used to be a woollyback town, but were engulfed by the spreading scouse cancer.

Spreading scouse cancer? Harsh

But fair.

Another neighbour! Sandwiched between St Helens and the 'pool here as well.

Welcome, Dodgy! Alright, la? Sound as a pound, I hope? Boss! Ah, and a red too. It's all blue or rugby nonsense round here.

I'm dead great, thanks, our Fallible. Actually I live deep in the Chelsea-supporting heartlands of North Surrey these days, but you know what they say, you can take the lad out of Liverpool...

I was going to make a stolen tyre related joke, but I stopped myself just in time. :teef: Ah, I suppose I qualify as a southerner. I spent a lot of time in Sussex, Bristol, Somerset, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and so on before moving here 10 years ago. They are an awful strange lot around these parts, aren't they. They strike up conversations in the street and everything.

Thanks, chairman bill. Red and Blue of course mean something different in Liverpool than they do in Westminster, but I probably lean towards the left of the political spectrum also.

First of all, a minor correction. I'm not a Scouser per se, but have lived long enough in the vicinity to be considered naturalised as it were. I'm under the flight path for Liverpool John Lennon Airport if that counts. :)

Second, I didn't realise we had other Liverpudlians here. You should all have told me sooner, only I could have arranged a death march around the museum for you all, as I did for the Rationalians in October!

So if the forum starts running slow now is it because we've now got a critical mass of scousers enough to replace the wheels with bricks?

luckily SD isn't around at the moment to report me for that one

With all those scousers in the museum you'll have wanted to do a full inventory beforehand, la. :naughty2:
