I joined here awhile ago but I don't think I ever made an intro thread. If I did, well fuck it, it was centuries ago anyway so it's time I mad a new one.

Some of you may know me as the handsome and efficient administrator by the name of Rasputin from Thinking Universe. Others may know me from the days of Thinking Aloud when I was still a moderator. And still, some of you may have no bloody clue who the fuck I am at all.

For those who don't know me and those who have forgotten: my name is Shawn, twenty-two years old, jobless student studying computer programming. It doesn't help though that I'm failing miserably at Calculus. I'm literally amazing when it comes to all other forms of mathematics but Calculus shows up and suddenly I'm shooting blanks. Pisses me right the fuck off but oh well, I think I might drop it and deal with it later when I can get a tutor from the get go. My German class is going well though, so that's a plus. Can't wait to travel to Germany someday, might even settle down there if I like it enough. I'm definitely going to be studying abroad there in the next few semesters.

I think I've rambled on long enough so I'll just leave it be for now and get to know y'all as time goes by.

Oh, also: would it be too much to ask for one of the admins here to change my name to Rasputin? It's the username I use everywhere now (when it isn't already taken that is) so it makes sense that I use it here too. Thanks a bunch in advance.

Have I ever had one of the TAF/TU troops? I'm not sure what that means. But no, TU does not bore me.

I would have replied in German but I don't speak it nearly well enough yet. I do hope to be fluent someday though.

Ah I see. Well someone posted a link to this forum by Gargamel and saw DaveD requesting that the TAF link on here be changed to TU so I thought I should drop by and see how y'all are holding up without me.

TU will always be my home forum but I'd like to start using this forum more often as well. There's plenty people here that I already know and many more that seem worth getting to know so why not?
