Hello everyone. I actually was directed to this site through some discourse with someone on a YouTube video, and have spent some time reading through a couple threads.

I would describe myself as a strong skeptic in many areas, I've been raised a non-believer my whole life but have only really started to consciously identify with the atheist community over the last number of years.

I do keep up on some popular atheist channels on YouTube and Facebook, and I contribute to the discussions when I can. I like having a venue to bounce ideas around and get feedback, and also to observe the discussions between other, more prominent users.

I have always been strong with math and sciences, and plan on getting into a scientific field as a career (a bit undecided yet on exactly what though). I will try to keep an eye on some of the threads on this site as best I can, and will pitch in if I feel I have something to add or need clarification on something.

Anyway thanks for allowing people such as myself to come and contribute to the community. Its great to have a place where I can feel a bit better about the future of humanity. :grin:
