Generally speaking it's bad manners to ask for geographical approximations mac...but not here

On motorcycle forums it's generally impolite NOT to state where you are from .....and I've never come across it being "bad manners" anywhere,

Well, I'm trying to think up a name.
I was thinking about using my g-g-grand fathers surname. He was an illiterate French peasant from Marseille who fixed roads in Queensland during the 1820's and '30's, until he died of a heart attack. I wonder if he sang the La Marseillaise while doing his job in the hope for a better Australia.

Had Jean-François de Galaup La Pérouse sailed into Botany Bay just a few days earlier than he did, we might all be singing La Marseillaise today. Maybe you could name yourself after him. ;)
