Hiya Mariappan!

Yes, i always read documents that are a threat to freedom, democracy, and threat people like sheep. The Bible is remarkable in that stone age bigotry is sold, even now as 'good news". The Bible is like Mein Kampf, but with less facts. :dopey:

I say welcome but that question is not a good start.

Calling yourself this-gospel are you inferring that you are false?

Like many people I've heard and/or read many extracts, but I've never read it cover to cover. I started once, but it bored me to tears and I gave up. I have a vague intention to try again one of these days.

Welcome aboard.

Yes I have read it.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

How can there be an "other" category for this poll? Isn't the question binary?

I've started reading it a few times but it's a terrible read so I always give up quite soon.

I voted "other" in that I have purposefully sat down and read from the bible, but have not read all of it.

Ah, right. I'd count that "No", but that would be a matter of interpretation. Maybe this-gospel could clarify how he wants that counted.

Also: What's a "theorist"?

I've no objection to changing my vote, if that's how it's intended to be interpreted.

I have never read it. My late wife read it a couple times and said she got most out of it reading it as literature, meaning as a story that we can mine for our own purpose.

Have you read the bible? Why don't you tell us about that. I know you want to.

Er, 4 gospels, some Paul, Ecclesiastes. My favorite part is the Israelites wandering the desert, killing and conquering, settling, but never finished any part of the old testament.

If it is, I'm not sure what "other" is supposed to mean. One's either read all of it, none of it, or some of it.
