I hail from the kingdom of Denmark

#1  Postby Sloth on Wheels » Apr 07, 2015 12:48 pm

Having been a lifelong skeptic - now pushing 40 - then I thought it could be fun to sign up here. And so I hereby.. do.

I do all sorts of creative things on amateur level, while trying to make a fair living in the world of IT. Apps, small games and stuff.

IT developer by education, professional bum by trade. I grew up in the outskirts of the Danish capital, and live on the dark countryside now. I hope to be able to add some worthwhile input to the discussions

Cheers! & see you around peeps :)

Welcome ....I'm a fan of the Danish sitcom Rita and looking forward to another season.

Very different than North America - certainly would not make prime time in Canada .....more's the pity.
We loved Copenhagen - hoping to hear more on how Denmark differs.

Never really got to see an episode of Rita, I've only seen trailers during commercials. Great you like it, we don't get to make much that ends up abroad :)

Welcome, and please enjoy.

Welcome aboard.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

There was a detective series ( woman journalist and harassed detective - she tries his patience - enjoyed that as well...opening series was hilarious and not likely to be allowed on prime time here )
Can't recall the name...reviewed it on here.

WHere are you in Denmark?

Thanks all! :)

Macdoc, I think you may be thinking of Dicte with Iben Hjejle, haven't seen that one either.. I guess I don't watch much tv, but I watch a lot of netflix if that counts. I live on south central sealand now :)

Sloths are my power animals, redwhine. That's what I tell those who asks anyway. Sloths seem to have a great attitude towards right about everything. We should learn more from them, especially concerning patience :)
