I just ran into stevebee92653

#1  Postby OrionRed » Dec 28, 2014 9:51 pm

I had NO idea who I was dealing with. He tried to say something about Eugenie Scott not understanding how natural selection works: https://plus.google.com/u/0/10897580249 ... bjU?cfem=1

I chimed in and boy did I get a ride.

Reading through the long posts about him here have made me feel much better.

Heh, this is an individual who was unaware of papers covering the genetic basis of tooth morphogenesis, despite being purportedly a professional dentist. Sadly the old Richard Dawkins forums have died a death, which is a shame, because much hilarity ensued when this glaring knowledge deficit was highlighted. :)

You really followed form with that response. 300 freaking pages on the rational skepticism thread telling you what you're getting wrong...and WE'RE the ones with a locked mind.

+Orion Red Yes, you are part of an immense experiment in group psychology. RatSkep was circa 25 evo-indoctrinates against lil' ol' me. They got their butts kicked, just like you are right now. It's about the largest thread in their history. I was finally banned, which got them off the hook, just as you are using RatSkep to get you off the hook, by changing the subject of the odds of a single protein molecule forming by randomness being about 1:infinity. The thread was titled Why Stevebee is Wrong, but the text was all about what a bunch of gullible dunces they are. When evo-zealots can't answer, like you cannot right now, they either ban or change the subject. Like you are doing right now.

Apparently the Rat Skep evo zealots [ all twenty five of them ] got stevebee banned because they were closed minded and refused to think for themselves so could not contemplate the possibility of being wrong. Though as they were the same evo zealots who debated with him for three hundred pages that would seem to invalidate the charge of closed mindedness. But that is not how stevebee sees it unfortunately. Still it is rather fetching that he remembers us so the effort was not in vain

He also has a looong thread on this site.

Indeed. However his willingness to actually engage in discussion waned as time went by. Resulting in a lot of his howlers coming from his earlier interactions, much of which was back on the now defunct Richard Dawkins forum. :(

If endlessly responding with "gawd, you believe that?" or mindlessly highlighting the words "could have" and "maybe" in scientific publications constitutes kicking butt - then sure, we've all had our metaphorical asses handed to us.

Well, one this site, he also tried to argue that there are different degrees of impossibility and then there's his famous pogo-stick straw-man....

Ah, the secret handshake. This is demonstrated at 5:20...
I have NO BELIEF in the existence of a God or gods. I do not have to offer evidence nor do I have to determine absence of evidence because I do not ASSERT that a God does or does not or gods do or do not exist.

Aye, not to mention he claims not to be a cretinist.

He's a moron, and that's being as charitable as it's possible to be.

Aye, a banned moron. Banned for excessive use of the colour blue, IIRC.
