I have just newly registered here and I suspect I'll not be the only one who is also registered at JREF. I hope my time here proves valuable and interesting. Please do not take my curt and clipped posting style as an indication that I am cold or unfriendly, more as a style that could be associated with symptoms similar to mild Aspergers (probably more like a slight bewilderment with how social niceties work).

The forum at JREF is currently being disassociated from the actual JREF. It is hoped (and looks likely) that the forum will continue as a seperate entity, paid for and hosted elsewhere, but as close as possible to having the same format, ideals and admin/mod team as it was when part of the JREF.

Meh I doubt it'll get messy it just seems that the separation of the forum from the actual JREF has prevented proper upkeep of the forums and the cracks are giving way. Par for the course for many things in life.

I actually have lurked RD and Ratskep well before I registered for JREF so I don't know if I'm a refugee or a spy >.>

(Only thing that actually got me to register was when I figured out one of ratskep's forum trolls had moved onto JREF and I was all wound up about it >.> )
