All my attempts are not netting me results. I tried to get the avatar I used on RDF with no success, any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Click on User Control Panel.
2. Click Profile.
3. Click Avatar.

There should be a spot where it says Upload Image From Your Machine

5. Open new tab.
6. Select image you would like to use.
7. Drag it to your desktop.
8. Upload it to a website like PhotoBucket and edit the image's size so it's 130 x 130.
9. Drag that one to your desktop.
10. Go back to the first tab(the one with the Upload From Your Machine Message.
11. Upload the image.

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks, but can't do it. This is a little difficult. Other forums allow you to download from anywhere. Upload from your machine does not work on my machine. All my pics are way to big.

Just make a copy of the pic you want and resize it. I think even windows lets you do this with a right click on the pictures (well lestwise Ubuntu lets me do that), or else use Gimp, Photoshop, Irfanview, Paint or any of a gazillion other programs can do the resize.

He's too young for me - I like my men middle aged, a bit paunchy is OK, maybe a bit thinning on top. This is my generation and I love them.

Way off topic now so feel free to bin.

Sounds like you are describing me.[almost except for what do you consider middle aged] But I warn you, I have a full head of hair, even though it's graying by the day. :)

It was you?

Thanks a lot mate!

I'm off for one week on vacation (Cozumel), so it kinda sucks because I wanted to get the hang of this new place right away, but oh well.

... I'll try to make do with scantily clad ladies and daikiries, but it's going to be tough.

Oh the humanity...

I posted something on one of the Amazon boards. I think it was the religion one.
I also made some crappy, simple, homemade ads to slip into books. I've put one in so far.

I'll continue to do what I can to promote this place.

Was kindly invited here by HughMcB, so many thanks for that.

Am currently looking over the threads detailing what happened when the RDF went tits up, cos it all seemed to pass me by.

Bloody hell, eh?

Bloody hell.

Not much of a poster - too busy with work and the kids. I did want to "jump" the RDF ship, though and joined here as an electronic statement against what happened to the RDF forums.

The RDF site was in my browser under the category of fun. Just doesn't seem like that anymore.

Welcome! I can relate with the "too busy with work and the kids". Luckily my job allows the occasional break and post then.
