I know, I was just slightly annoyed because he keeps appealing to the mods over a technical issue in different threads, when there's a specific thread and forum for it. Why come into a thread that hardly anyone is interested in and ask someone else to flag the mods instead of doing it himself in the right place?

Because he has insufficient willpower to do it himself so expects others to do it instead

Yes, that is really weird. Is anyone else having a problem accessing this forum via Tapatalk anyway? To my knowledge he never asked. The problem might just lie with Mazille's setup.

As for the bunfight between you and Ironclad, I was somewhat mystified why it had not been split from this thread some time between last December and now. The two moderators responsible for regulating this section of the forum, DarthHelmet86 and campermon, have not even as much as logged on for a year and a half and two years respectively, so there's that. But what about the global mods? None ever noticed? Do they really rely that much on ordinary members using the report button? I know they are volunteers who have plenty going on elsewhere. In that case they should relinquish their role as mods, though.

Mazille isn't the one with the trouble. This is stuff that has been discussed every which way several times. Mods do not appear to have the time even to relinquish their role, let alone respond to the less sexy of the FUA breaches. No answer is forthcoming. Also, I wouldn't describe someone launching a full-on paranoid rant and their target noting the trolling nature of making accusations and providing zero evidence for them a 'bunfight'. In fairness, the batshittiest of his posts has been deleted (no other action was taken withrespect to it), so his input looks a tad less insane than it in fact was.

I have noticed a distinct lack of mod action with every passing year. I get the impression that there is a laissez faire attitude by existing mods and we are supposed to either self moderate or just bumble along until disputes naturally run out of steam
I also think some of us know each other so well within the context of the forum that complacency makes it rather harder to get noticed by the mods for any possible FUA breaches. We are now eight years old so maybe we simply cannot be seriously arsed to be annoying any longer as its just not worth the effort any more

Perhaps I was not sufficiently clear. Mazille's trouble is with Tapatalk. Ironclad's trouble is with you. The latter resulted in a bunfight, regardless of who is right and who is wrong. As far as I can tell Ironclad's ferocious attack on you (starting here) is, to put it mildly, unbecoming. The embitterment and the inability to let things go is palpable, as is the unpreparedness to reach some sort of settlement of old gripes or even merely a truce.

In the past I have noticed you insist on speaking your mind. Some people find your style abrasive. Though I sometimes thought you could have made your points more diplomatically, I appreciated that you expressed them clearly. Ironclad, on the other hand, just keeps spitting bile -- a hatred of you he expresses singularly inchoately.

Again, Mazille is not the one withTapatalk trouble.
