New to the site

#1  Postby dterry » Oct 24, 2015 3:27 am

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site, and have read a few posts and liked what I saw; figured I would go ahead and create an account, and introduce myself.

First off, I DO NOT in any fashion "believe" or consider for there to be a deity which controls our society in any logical detectable means. (Big reason I was intrigued by the site).
I have no actual scientific background as of present (just started working on a degree in Biology - Highly interested in evolution, specifically transitional organisms, and the origins of life to include abiogenises, as well as paleontology and astrobiology).

My only past experiences are that I served in the United States Marine Corps for four years as enlisted infantry, and I currently work in Executive Protection while going to school. I know I know, would not seem like I would be a big evolutionist :smoke:

If you guys have any questions, comments concerns, or anything just message me, or post below.

Welcome, we do not require members to be big or small evolutionists.. This is after all a term that suggests that evolution is some sort of belief or political persuasion. You may have no scientific back ground at present but as you are studying biology this is a temporary state.

Welcome aboard.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

Ah, so you're interested in all organisms, then?

Welcome.
