What? Posts approved?

#1  Postby scherado » Oct 10, 2018 9:46 pm

I just finished posting my "hello" and was told that it must be approved.

If I new that in advance I WOULD NOT HAVE BOTHERED TO REGISTER, AND SURE AS HELL WOULD NOT HAVE COMPOSED AN INTRODUCTORY POST.

Thank you and goodbye.

Only the initial post requires approval to prevent us being overrun with spammers.

Are you telling me that the very first post is approved, but not all subsequent?

We just had to check you were not selling; real fake passports, real-estate at low tide, essay writing services or one of the myriad of wonderful products some first time posters have on offer. Spammers make up the majority of newly registered users and we can't be bothered having these wonderful items clogging up our threads. This is a moderated forum, so behave, but post approval only related to the initial posts.

Time will tell.

Would you like to read my take on that thing we call 'Time'?

Be cautious, as you will need ample duct-tape applied to your cranium prior to reading. Do not think you can reach for it at the last moment. That never works. What a mess!!

I wish there was an emote that clearly denoted the charades gesture of taping one's nose and pointing at someone.

I did. But sometimes you just have to dig in over a typo and, say, yeah, I wish that too!

PS: I still really should get my browser spellcheck fixed. :tehe:
