The downside for English viewers having a 4(or more) way debate: having to listen to Sturgeon, who they can't vote for.

The downside for Scottish viewers of not having a 4(or more) way debate: viewers are misled over policies in NHS education justice policing housing etc, and have the missing partly very likely attacked without reply, all potentially resulting in a different GE outcome. For the whole of the UK.

lol.

The way things are going it'll be Mark Francois in coalition with the mad shouty guy outside Parliament who ruins every broadcast interview.

I doubt the SNP will much feature. Of course, they will feature heavily in debates specific to Scotland. Y’know, that place where they exclusively stand candidates.

Disturbing, isn't it?

One wonders just how some people see the member nations of Great Britain & NI. Not as equal partners it seems.
Why do you think that?

Here are Mr. Brexit (Mark Francois) and Mr. Stop Brexit (Steve Bray)
almost in coalition talks.

Mr. Brexit does most of his shouty inside parliament

Yes, I know Tom Walker was not the shouty person Ron referred to. He just gave me an excuse to trot out a clip by him because he is a man after my own heart even though his choleric rants can become a little tiresome.

In fact, with one exception politics of all shades is becoming depressing and tiresome to me. The exception is New Zealand's Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern. Here she reports on what her government has done since it was elected two years ago:

I think he means you ignored everything between your own posts.

That would be consistent with your attitude towards all things scottish. Why would you want to read anything a Scot has to say, or anything contradicting your English bias? All that should be on a Scottish forum only seen on Scottish screens, right?

I doubt it. I trust that ron isn’t that daft.

Can’t say that same faith applies to you, mind.

Please try using the word 'England' at least once every 5 words if you want any attention.

Also that word you keep using... Svitdan? Scottan? Whatever it is - stop using it, it's not a real word!

I'm not at all surprised by the Lib Dems, but I'm disappointed with the Greens today. The electoral pact they've agreed to targets some seats that, even with the pact votes added together, are clearly still Labour/Tory marginals with strongly pro-remain Labour candidates. The supposed purpose of the pact is to force their voters to vote tactically, but if the goal is stopping Brexit the actual tactical vote in many of these seats is Labour. If they claim to be a tactical remain vote when they're not and they end up letting the Tories back in, I'll be seriously pissed off.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

"We've put aside narrow political considerations to form this alliance to help the libdems".

I think that's what Swinson said on the news.

Scotland. It's the knobbly bit that stops England getting frayed at the top. :coffee:
