I admit i'm one of the dodgy types the video is on about and the world should tremble...i've been at it for years. A few clients may offer the opinion my work is indistinguishable in its random devastation compared to the real bad guys!

It doesn't need the int main to work. It compiles and runs just fine without. I think unless void is set then the int is assumed.

Hmm, I had Visual Studio open just there and smooshed it in to see (yes I really am that lame). Got a C4430. So depends on the compiler I guess!

I'm that lame too. I compiled it just fine on Visual C== 6.0 .I haven't tried it on VS2005 or above but wouldn't be surprised if one or other of them had a good moan about it. I think the assumed int thing went out of the window in later versions of Visual studio.

I have realised there appears to be a few of us dodgy programmer types all congregating on one website. Will the black helicopters be whizzing overhead and this site start setting off alarms in various security services departments
