Harare - A Zimbabwean man awaiting trial for stealing motor cycles has been locked up in remand prison for months with his intestines hanging out after being shot in a police raid.

The accused appeared in court for a bail application this week, hobbling in pain and holding his protruding intestines in a plastic bag, local media reported on Wednesday.

Things would be so much simpler if people of this sort would die on the spot, in the raid, or shootout, chase...etc. I never hear that happening. If some can give me examples of that happening, I'd be all to happy to retract my previous statement.
